Tot Internet Speed Increase ?

I heard stories that TOT will increase/going to offer 8 MB internet connections "soon"...!??

Does anybody have infos about this issue??

Talking specially about Phuket, as I´m living here...

Normally they say always tomorrow here in Thailand. I have never heart "soon" here. It might mean longer then tomorrow

It's easy to increase the line speed to 8Mbps, as this is the maximum supported speed on any DSLAM.

But 8Mbps bandwidth to the internet?????? Absolutely not, unless:

1. TOT replaces all LAC routers (the current ones are already running >90% cpu load).

2. TOT replaces current personnel with educated, skilled and experienced personnel.

I checked the TOT calendar, no miracles planned for the rest of this year.
