Have U.S.A. 60 day visa coming to an end. Is 15 day extn still in tact? I've heard a rumor for a 30 day?

Regardless, from Bkk, should I assume to fly to Udonthani and then bus up to Nong Khai?

Since you mention a 60 day visa I presume you have a tourist visa. A tourist visa can be extended by 30 days for 1,900 baht at any immigration office. There is an office in BKK at suan plu. Look for details here: http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/en/ba...p?page=location

Do you think a 1 day safety factor would suffice for my renewal?
