On the back page of today's Bangkok Post, Business Section, there is an article about Thiacom.

May 15: "Thiacom shifts to open standard".

To me, the article says a lot without saying anything at all.

Could this have any effect on any of us - as far as broadband is concerned ?

I live in a remote area and have been held hostage by a very unstable TOT

ADSL connection.
