Okay people,

Let me explain, we are a small, not more then 50 people company, which designs automotive parts, mainly we design engine parts and for several worldwide known racing outfits we design whole engines.

Currently we have several separated administrations which, is mainly because of software limitations, our company runs completely on Linux, for some software which we need to install for communication with some of our customers runs in a VMware MS Windows XP environment.

Anyway, we serious looking for a Accounting solution, we now have a license for a package called Express.... but that still seems to run MS Dos... and we looking for something to replace this.

Are there any people/companies with similar problems?

Express has also (more recent) version which runs under Windose. Both of these version should run on your VMWare XP box. (I tried it with Virtualbox)

I haven't tried them under Wine, but i would expect them to work there too.
