Any Good House Reef On Koh Tao?

Featured Replies

hi,

we´re planning a week koh tao in the summer and want to do some diving AND snorkling. ideal would be a _good_ house reef off the beach/resort. are there any good ones? i´ve been there a couple of years ago on a diving trip, but can´t say a thing yout snorkling, unfortunately.

or does it make sense to go further right away, like koh nang yuan?

thanks a lot for ideas!

What's a "house reef"?

What's a "house reef"?

Maybe "youngster code" for home grown weed?

;O)))

a "reef" off the beach -> enough for snorkling... so you don´t have to take a boat everytime you wanna see some maritime life.

didn´t know i speak in mysteries, sorry :)

That does seem a made-up term of yours, but now it makes sense. No idea, man, suggest google for what is a good reef right off Koh Tao, and then check if there are guesthouses on the beach there.

There are several snorkelling places around Koh Tao that you can access from the beach. You could opt to stay on Koh nang Yuang just off Tao which has some excellent spots and some lovely beaches. Mango bay and shark bay are also good spots on Tao. The water around Tao is very good for snorkelling and most dive shops will take you along on their dive boats to some of the better sites to snorkel along with the divers. :)

Sensi Resort...Not only do they have a "house reef", they have 'house reefer" :D

Dad (Alan) owns Sensi Seeds in Amsterdam...his son Ravi usually manages the resort.

So, you get the best of both worlds :D

Should you really be mentioning that on a public forum? And, giving names as well. Not too bright. :)
