lorddaverichards Posted May 21, 2009 Share Posted May 21, 2009 My GF has booked us on 2 trips to Kho Samed in June and July - she purchased thenm in the travel fair some time ago and they are flexible travel - mon- fri My question is has anyone else experienced a holiday on the island in either June / July and whats it like in terms of weather / number of people staying etc. we are staying in 2 different resorts the one in June is on the east coast and second one is on the west coast. It rained like a kwai peeing on a flaty rock for a bit, and then the sun returned. No ploblem! Just go swimming in the sea if it rains too long. It's still warm. I know its the rainy season and have to take pot luck many thanks dave I lived there for donkeys. Personally I detest the place, but sure go there. Heavy rain. Very heavy rain. Filthy muddy impassable roads. Discharged sewage at night down the beach. Angry, horrible locals, Silver Sands and that area now almost a no-go, but it'll be low season so only a bunch of old ladyboys there. Dirty, stinking, ruined, horrible dump of a place.
