Please note as this may be a long or short post. I am asking this question as I know many of you have traveled more abroad or to some of those countries, so I would like to hear your experiences. Please note the following

Don't use references to North Korea, Burma / Mynmar, or similiar countries

Don't use references to Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, or similiar countries

hope you understand why I put that. anyway on comparsion

Thailand vs Other Similiar 3rd World Countries, comparsions on

Infrastructure ( road, electric, water )

Stability of Government

Starting a business

Owning a house / condo

Mentality / Attitude of the local people there

Your experiences there

Ways these countries are worse / better / same than thailand

any information or some idea from your experiences would be very helpful. thanks

Air asia has cheap tickets, why not go and take a look ?

Also how you define your 3rd world countries ? I.e. Malaysia and Thailand are not that different in level of development...

Although I was born as a Muslim, I would think i would have a second thought to leave in a Muslim country, is not the fact of all the bad things are talked about theses days, just some of the traditions do not agree with me does not matter how socially advance they are.

By far Thailand is a better place for me

"Mentality / Attitude of the local people there"

lolololololololol

In "X Country" they just love middle-aged bald Western men. That's what you want to hear right?

You forgot to add "beer drinking, overweight & big nose"
