Penangkaki
I have a ZyXEL wireless router from True. How can i get it to connect to my laptop? My laptop can see it but cannot get connected. When i connect them using an ethernet cable they work fine. Very much appreciate your help.
webfact
Looks like you need to type in the pass key you have set in your wireless router security. Without it it won't connect

opalhort
When connected via cable, have you tried to change the WiFi settings in your router? Try to unprotect the WiFi temporarily to see if it works or you may have to enter the MAC number of the laptop as an allowed equipment to access the router. Not sure how this is done on your router but there are ways. The router address is probably something like http://192.168.1.1 opalhort
webfact
Don't know what Notebook brand you have or how old your notebook is. Be aware older models can not connect to the newer security mode i.e. WPA or WPA2 If the wireless adapter in your notebook can only catch WEP than you must set your router to WEP Opalhort is right. Xyxel IP is 192.168.1.1 and the pw is 1234 (in case you must reset the router)
