How are these biz packages superior to Maxnet Premier?

The prices are 4-5 times those of premier... Anyone using Maxnet biz?

Compare those prices and what you pay now to the prices in the states:

50Mbps (That's right, 50!) fiber optic connection for about 5,000 Baht a month.

I can only imagine. I get excited when I come, the internet isn't down and I hit 3Mbps at speedtest.net.

Your comparing a Maxnet business product to a Verizon residential product for starters. Why not compare Maxnet residential vs Verizon residential, or commercial vs commercial? Yes, when talking FiOS it's still pretty lopsided, but FiOS for business at the speeds you mention costs $279.99/month with a static IP. Not sure about the SLA compared to Verizon's digital lines (DS1, DS3, etc.)

Verizon is probably 1000x larger than Maxnet anyway.

Japan and many European countries put the US to shame when it comes to residential broadband. 100Mb Ethernet port for 10USD/month. Verizon ain't beating that anytime soon.

In the end, what would you do with 50Mbs here? You'd complain that your international speed is still only 1Mb, unless you need more speed for kapook.com or teenee.com.

You cannot compare a business plan to a home plan. Business plans charge more in both Thailand and the United States because on average business users take more bandwidth. Moreover, FIOS is a great deal that probably less then 5% of Americans has access to.

At the maxnet office it was explained to me that there is no service level difference between business and premeir. You just need business if you are hooking up at an actual business.

Other then a couple days of problems with Google I have had a good experience with Maxnet Premier. I get the rated speed both international and inside Thailand.

You could get CSLOXINFO 4mb SME which is the same with static IP for about 6000thb.

Still not really comparable.

Maxnet Premier is the SME version, with a 1:10 sharing ratio. Apparently Csloxinfo does a 1:20 sharing on SME, so Maxnet Premier should be superior (theoretically of course)!

Maxnet Biz has a 1:2 sharing ratio.

Wasn't comparing the two. Just pointing out the amazing speeds you can get in some parts of the world for the same prices we pay here for barely competent internet.

CSLOX SME and Maxnet Premier do not seem to be any different with regard to performance - the advantage of course with CSLOX SME is the static IP included in the price.
