Which Policies do you support?
How do you feel about Ukraines blank check? How much of the current economic sputtering do you attribute to the policies of Biden. Should so called "trans" women compete in mens sport? -

Thailand will go further than legalising same-sex marriage – PM
I wonder when it will occur to Srettha and his merry band of progressives who all are clapping each other on the backs for being so in turn with rainbow liberalism with suddenly the facts smack them in the face? What are they gonna do? Tell their citizens that only gay Thais can marry their same sex? That same sex marriage will not be an option for foreign couples who wish to get married? I absolutely guarantee, know Thais and their inability to plan into the future, that this hasn't ever crossed their radar yet. And when it does, they are probably going to make a lot of people very unhappy with the slap-trap way the end up handling the issue because it will not have been thought out. It will be 100% reactive. I'm leaning toward that the Thai government will only allow gay Thai citizen to marry other same-sex gay Thai citizens, after which all of this hype that "Thailand will go further than legalising same-sex marriage" will be seen as more of the typical hot-air emanating from government house that ends up being all promises and no delivery. Why? The LBGT+ community is global, and as such when Thailand says it's legalizing "same-sex marriage," the global LBGT+ community is going to react, and when those promises are found to be empty bovine excrement, the reaction by the global LBGT+ community will not be pleasant. Imho. -

Quality tourist here. Where is my red carpet and smiles?
Reminds me of my visit to a breakfast place in London the other day. Not a word of Thai on the menu, neither Lao! Of course, I left, this kind of stupid place probably wouldn't even have namtok. I went to a nearby cafe to get chayen, but the waiter didn't speak a word of Thai, I tried Khmer and Suai, useless. So I tried to grab a taxi to the airport to fly home - but even the taxi driver wouldn't speak Thai. What a godforsaken place -

living in a (non-Thai) village
While I have frequently visited those three countries - including spending a lot of time working in Vietnam, and know many people who live in them, they all live in cities or tourist areas. No doubt there are Westerners living in villages, but I'd imagine it would be tougher than it currently is here. I'd also look at communication and infrastructure as well as your points: Fibre optic internet coverage. Quality of mobile network. Ease of ordering items that you want online (Lazada etc) and having them delivered to your door. This includes food items, electronic and hobby equipment, and whatever else you may need to make your life simpler/more enjoyable/bearable. Because there's no way you'll be getting them locally. General road quality, and how easy to buy and drive your own (or a family member's) car - being able to drive yourself about when and as required, or the fancy takes you, is, in my opinion, essential when living in a rural area. Nearby medical services. Anywhere to meet and talk/drink with other Westerners. Not actually an issue with me, but many seem to need it. Reliability of electricity supply, or ease of purchase and installation of a solar system. No doubt others will have additional requirements to these ones. Note I said tougher than it currently is here, as many, including myself, lived in villages here before most of these things existed upcountry. However, back then the first three in particular didn't exist anywhere. Now that they do exist, it would be tougher to move somewhere where they still don't. (Some may differ on this point and be able to live in a cave with no communication with the outside world, but not me). -

Thailand will go further than legalising same-sex marriage – PM
The foreigners sex doesn't change, so the rules stay the same. A gay marriage has 2x wives, or 2x husbands. -

Human-Induced Climate Change Creates Olympic "Heat Dome" Crisis
And who created the "Heat Dome" millions of years ago when there no humans on the earth? And also what fossil fuels caused the high levels of C02 levels found millions of years ago? World temperatures have only been recorded for a few hundred years. The sample size of any statistic regarding rising temperatures over time is insignificantly tiny compared to millions of years of earths temperatures. It is preposterous to make any conclusion that man is influencing the earths temperatures based on a tiny sample size. For those of you proselytizing this climate change hoax, please get yourself a college level statistic book and study "sample size." -

Gender Row Paris Olympics Boxer Previously Barred from Women’s Events Wins in 46 seconds
I am not suggesting that I agree with the present IOC/Imane Khelif situation but with regard to the official documentation then I respect her/she titles. I also feel that I would lose any argument on her competing in women's boxing since both the IBA and IOC have allowed it in previous years. Until/unless official stamps and signatures change Imane Khelif's status the titles must be her, she etc. So the argument is for future doctors to determine after birth the status of chromasomes etc and classify according to the definitions at that time. -

What visa type is DTV?
Just like the former Elite is a PE (privilege entry visa), and you get a PE written in your arrival stamp - what type is DTV? Or what will the stamp say? Or is DTV its own visa type?
