cuddleypete Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 On Monday at the sea rescue center located close to the Bali Hai Port at the south end of Pattaya Beach, Khun Ronagit, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya opened a 9 day training course for Sea Rescue Workers to improve their rescue methods. 30 Sea Rescue Workers are attending the course which will include 7 days of training here in Pattaya and two days training at the Sattahip Navy Base in conjunction with the Royal Thai Navy. Also on Monday, the Deputy Mayor was taken for a tour around the new rescue center which is using the latest GPS and Radar Technology to ensure the safety of boats in the area and a fast response to any rescues that may occur.
