google wave rolls email, wikis, instant messaging, blog-style commenting, revision history and version control, collaborative document-editing, and a whole lot of Ajax magic into a single app that just might someday subsume email and other fragmented messaging and collaboration products.

I watched some

where they were presenting it to developer audience in Sydney. It's clever but I didn't think it was *that* innovative, and while the demo was laden with features it was also pretty complex for Joe Average. I can't imagine the people in my office using anything like that, they struggle enough with email. Bits of it will probably do well, but mega-apps like in the demo are a bit much.

The thing I liked most was actually the drag and drop files from desktop onto a webpage. That's cool.
