I booked a ticket with Asiana Airlines through Vayama. My name is misspelled in the confirmation mail. I've asked Vayama to change it but was told talk with the airline instead. It's one letter missing in my first name. My husband bought the tickets for us online and his name is spelled correctly on the confirmation.

Asiana Airlines told me to fax them my passport page along with my ticket ID and email address. Aside from not having a fax or scanner, I don't feel it's safe to do this over fax. Where do I find the Asiana Airlines office here in Bangkok that would deal with this? Has anyone ever had to modify their ticket with Asiana and if so, how quickly did they respond and does it cost anything?

The first leg of our flight leaving Bangkok will be with Cathay Pacific. They of course will not change anything but referred us to Asiana. Is it possible to make the correction at the airport here?
