Had a nail in my tyre, went back to my regular store where the policy is in x months free nail removal and tyre balance - cool ! Asked for a re-alignement - 350 baht ! A steal ! Go fo it.........

Upon returning, they had in faster than you can say "Bernie Madolf in Jail" presented additional things wrong with my car, which i really should fix as its "very dangerous" - 5,900 Baht ( mind you, car just returned 2 weeks from the toyota regular check up ! ). They have this female person who does not know one end of the car from the other trying to make the sell. Then we got into the nitty gritties of the technicalities of what was wrong and why it should be changed ....... and the list disappeared very vey quickly.

Love B-Quik, dont get me wrong, but it seems they have installed a policy of "its not broke so lets fix it" policy.

p.s. This is the second time they have tried it on me........ Last time there was a nail removed from another tyre, and she was adament that i shud buy a new tyre as "most likely" the steel belts had been pierced / broken which is velly dangelous

Normal practice in any of these tyre chains the world over. To be fair to them i had 3 blown shocks diagnosed ( i watched them check it and they showed me on the vehicle)and all four replaced for 2400baht. So they definitely didn't rip me off.

agree with thaicbr on "normal practice world over" but so far found thailand to be less pushy on these things. also use bquick because i like them so much better then the shady dark holes. Hey skippy, why dont you complain to them about it...

LOL........ nah, they are ok, quick / good work and price is ok. Just get annoyed at the con-jobs.

Last time i really drew her out of her shell to see how much she knew about the topic - and she fell flat on her face. All just bluff.

guess just grin and bear it :)
