cuddleypete
Over the weekend a Police Pick-up was on routine patrol on Pattaya Third Road when they were overtaken by a fast moving vehicle which was seen to be driven in an erratic fashion. The vehicle was ordered to pull over by the pursuing Police vehicle, however it failed to do so. Road blocks were set-up and still the driver failed to stop and was seen to hit other vehicles during the chase which finally came to an end in Jomtien after the vehicle slammed into the front wall of a factory compound owned by the Thai-Thani Company. The driver was dragged from his vehicle and asked to explain his actions. Khun Tawatshai aged 26 was clearly in a drunken state and claimed that all he was trying to do was to get home and suggested that he did not see the pursuing Police vehicle and roadblocks. The driver was arrested and taken to Pattaya Police Station where he was charged with drunk driving and reckless driving endangering lives. http://www.pattayaone.net/news/2009/june/n...2_06_52_4.shtml
