I discovered yesterday after a visit to the UK Visa section in Bangkok that if you apply on line your printed application is only valid for 1 month after that you have to reaply on line , i went with my wife and 2 children yesterday , i had previously applied on line in March but didnt see it through to the actual physical application in Bangkok , i thought i would use the 3 applications that i had printed in March , only to be given 3 application forms that i had to complete by hand in the waiting room , there where also 2 UK ex pats applying for settlement visas , they had handed in hand written applications they would not accept them and they had to go find an inet shop to do them on line , the current waiting time for visit visa is 3 weeks and settlement 3 months
