I hope someone will please explain the rules regarding the 90-day address notification when my address changes. For example, if I notify in Bangkok and then move to Singburi, do I need to report again right away or just wait for the next 90-day point? And when reporting the change, do I report to the office at the old address, or new address?

Without going into great detail, a recent change in the rules will be very inconvenient for me. I wonder if anyone can comment, based on actual experience, of the implications or risks of failing to report a change of address.

I was informed by Chiang Mai Immigration just to do it on my next 90 dayer at my new immigration office.

The land lord, homeowner, inn keeper, hotel, etc. is required to report a alien :) within 24 hrs of them being there....

That's on their shoulders, not the alien :D

You must inform Immigration within 24 hours of arrival at your new address.

Immigration Act Section 37 (3)

The landlord, home owner, etc must report your arrival within 24 hours. Section 38

I have just asked the question in Pattaya immigration as I will be moving shortly and received the standard answer 'just report next time after 90 days'. I wouldn't trust it though and will be filling out Form tm28 on the day I move. (tm28 - Form for Aliens to notify their change of address or their stay in the Province for over 24 hours)

Don't forget that the landowner also has to report.

Presumably the landowner would know that and it would be his responsibility and not mine, assuming that I have already reported as required?

Sorry, make that house owner. But yes, it is his responsibility.
