Hi Nick, whats wrong with checking other companies prices and sharing info? No-one wants to pay too much for pretty much the same cover.

Nothing, but its good to get some some comparrisons in advance in my opinion if wanting to get the best deal for ones self,or a insurance specialist can just under cut your current quote by a small amount, which makes their life easy, just my take on it.

Sorry, not sure why that is relevant.

I take it no one has insurance then..!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um... I have insurance. Can't remember the company or what I paid for it. Pretty sure I posted the info in the ER6n thread. Only 42 pages to sift through :)

Hey I'm sure I have insurance as well. Bigbike is right there is information about insurance in the fun and informative ER6n thread. I believe you can also get a quote at the Kawasaki dealer and there are two policies from two brokers.

Hi Nick, check the fine print. For total loss you really want a new replacement bike in the first year. Subsequent years replacement value at a fair rate.

All I am saying is not all insurance companies are the same....there's bound to be a few scammers out there.

For a 180.000 baht (80% of value) bike cover expect 7.000 baht/year. Name Viraya or something similar.

Check with your kawazaki dealer if insurance has credit for repair. If not, you have to pay, and then claim from insurance which takes 1-3 months after you have payed repair.
