Putting up the curtain rails and hanging pictures is gonna be a bitch!

I've never seen the toggle type of wall plug here.

Readily available even from the most basic of hardware stores in my experience.

When I think my thai language ability will fail me, I google the thing i want and show them the picture.

I get to learn a new word every time too

what's the cost per square meter? is this a fairly cheap method of construction?

When I drove by a few months ago it was still a shell. Amazed at how quickly things have moved on.

Rockwood is similar to Conwood which is available in Thailand. What I've heard is that Rockwood uses better materials and it's stronger than conwood but I believe both are ok.

You have a ceiling on your pool what Luxury! Is it air conditioned as well?

you may laugh as much as you want. fact is that my pool area is indeed airconditioned and the waste heat of the 36k btu unit is used to heat the water from mid november till end of february. below a picture of the outside unit with the heat exchanger:
