Where is the Government Office in Chonburi to register a car( a link to a map whould be nice) Thanks in advance Chris
July 16, 200916 yr Hi Chris, Is there a reason you want to transfer the car registration to Chonburi? I bought my car in BKK close to 5 years ago, and have left it registered in BKK, my name in the blue book, just as yours. I pay government insurance and road tax in Pattaya where I live without any problems. I have also heard that it's easier to resell the car if it's registered in BKK, as well as getting a better price. (Haven't looked into this myself yet though) Martin

July 20, 200916 yr I bought a new Nissan Frontier in Pattaya in 2004. Shortly after that I moved to Loei province. I never changed the book to Loei. My insurance man renews my registration every year. The police have never said anything.
