15'000 is already cheap (Budged). or what do you think? A brand new car for 6'000 per month? Have to understand that cars aren't for free. A cheap new car cost already over 550'k to buy, cash only, if get financed about 650'k because of interests. A good "rental car insurance" insurance cost also another 20'k per year.

So with almost a 600' or 700'k of risk someone should have at least the chance to get 15'k per month. Who pays for the wear and tires? Who pays for the servicing? Who pays for the time, during the car is in a workshop, after a accident? Can be sometime a mount or two? Who pays for the devaluation? How much would you pay in Europe for a monthly car hire? Have to be fair when asking.

Budged offer for 15'k per month, but minimum one year contract. No "rental car insurance", just privat one (this is what they told me at the phone). According the law car rental companies should have a correct "rental car insurance", comercial type. Budget offer 15,k but have to pay some deposit in advancve, to make sure someone keep the contract for at least one year. Otherwise i could see some cheap charlies who sign up for a one year contract to get in the 15'k quotation, and park the car on the airport after one month holiday.

Yes I know 15000 is cheap but if you look in the Bangkok Post ads for a 1 year contract they do a price of 299 baht a day for a manual car thats just 10900 baht a year, just wondered if anyone else knew any different.

Mosthly it's all about catching customers

Just to explain why i doing this: We do car rentals as well therefore i'm interested to know what other companies doing. So i really toke my time to contect them and got answers.

This morning i got emailed the documents for the 15'k rates of Budget and it looks like they do this options only for companies. If i want this deal for 15'k over a year, have t provide them my Copies of Passport Drive License, WORK PERMIT and Company document. It look to me that the 15'k doesn't include the VAT. They want a four month bank statement to aprove i have proper income or enought founds in LOS.

So everything doesn't look easy to me. If you really like to know the details, you can pm me your emailaddress and i can forward you Budget's email i got.

So i guess the 299 Baht, wich is 10'900 per month is the same thing. For 15'k you get a Vios or City at Bugdet Car Rent on a 1 year contract, i guess, but for 10'900, you get maybe what? A 399'000 Baht Proton Savy or a Tata??? I don't know. In this case the prices make sense.

Both Herz and Budget have had ads in local papers....Bankok Post etc for cars at 10000 a month. It appears that they are not new cars but ones that have passed their normal rental life of about 12 -24 months. Make sure you check that they are quoting on them and not new cars.

yabaaaa where did you learn maths

299 per day, for 365 days is 109,135 baht!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it would be 8970 per month, not 10'900.
