Maybe there is already a way to add a link like this to the Toolbar, but this would save from scrolling back up to top after reading a post, then clicking on View New Posts. I (and maybe many others) spend a lot of time doing that to see what new posts have just come in and this would be slick timesaver.

I realize the implementation could get a little tricky: Is ThaiVisa.com currently open in a tab? Which one? Etc. Maybe opening Thaivisa.com enables the button. As a career software guy I've always strived to make things as convenient as possible for my users, but I am a dinosaur now and have no idea what capabilities are readily available to the TV systems guys.

Figured out a solution. Doesn't involve the TV toolbar, but if you go to View New Posts, then copy the http shown in the window into your browser toolbar it works great. It will look something like:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/search.html&...ult_type=topics (This link WON'T work for you, you need to do the copy and paste yourself)

Not sure if this is a static link (hope so) or if it needs to be refreshed with new ids now and then. We'll see.

This is the shortcut I wanted. :)

Just discovered it is indeed not a static link unfortunately. The hex id addresses do in fact change so you would need to copy in new url info now and then. Still ok for me.
