Newborn and a male with with predisposition for f*king around. Ummm, can ou say, marital discord in the making? Stay away from Pattaya. There are so many wonderful places in Thailand. Go visit the Issan and Surin forums. You will easily find a months worth of fun and safe activities. Try the area near Hua Hin / Cha Am.

For a shocker, consider Trang. Everyone I know that has gone, enjoyed it. I was convinced it was dull and boring, but I am appaently wrong.

Whatever you do, give Pattaya a pass. It's just not worth it if you have a newborn and a wife you want to keep.

Wherever you go book an apartment for 3 months and travel about the country from there, ive stayed for 3 months many a time and end up lugging my baggage around and its a pain in the ass as well as being more expensive.

At least if youre in one place your Muay thai and learning thai skills will progress better then if you were to be moving towns month to month.

Id also recommend making it 5 months Europe can be a dreary depressing place to come back to in January.

So why take so much luggage to Thailand, if you have to rent an apartment to store it there, while you are somewhere else??
