Does any body know why does the world money exchange rate applies to the internet and the rest of the world. But not here in Thailand .The rate for Canadian exchange at the moment is 30.64 Thai banks say not same.And were can I go to get the best rate here in Pattaya and not get rippedoff.Thanks rippedoff.

My best guess is the money exchangers have to give themselves some leeway when things fluctuate as much as they have recently. I don't really think it is a rip off. If anything it is banks everywhere that rip people off.
