woops....posted in the wrong category.....

to the moderators : pls move this post to "Internet, computers, communication, technology in Thailand"...

sorry.

Get Macromedia Dreamweaver. This app supports implementing mysql database by drag-and drop methods. Very easy.

You also might look for a 'link' type php,cgi or asp script on http://www.hotscripts.com.

There are many Yahoo 'like' type scripts which you can use to make a directory.

Hi. Funny to see your post here. I've actually been looking for a good script to clone an Alibaba-type site ever since I saw how many businesses have registered with them. (They're actually one of the most visited sites in the world now with a rank of 40, via Alexa.)

The only script that I have come across that resembles these b2b sites is one recently, a demo being viewable at http://www.sialkotbusiness.com/

The script is for sale at $350 (which is a little high..)

You can also get one custom-made through sites like rent-a-coder.

If you're serious about it, I'd be interested in going half-way with you so that we can test it out on a server.

alibaba.com is like the daddy of all b2b sites....having personally benifited from that site.

making an alibaba clone would cost u $$$....

i would love to get my hands on a ready made script....

yesterday i found http://phpmydirectory.com/ really nice but it costs $99. i would like some trial time to c how im doin b4 puttin in some bucks....

an open source/free script would really make my day :-)

ive got spare server space to try out any script....so if u have somethin in mind do tell me...

Interesting script. It looks pretty good for only $99.

Someone actually has a torrent of version 9.3 (which I believe is the old free version)
