MrRubee
Hello, My girlfiend and I married last week and are heading to Bangkok to apply for a UK settlement visa in the next few days. I was just wondering if I need to get the Thai marrage cetificate translated into English before applying for the visa, if so do I then need to get it cetified by any partiular body? Thanks again! Nathan You need to include one of your original marriage certificates, you will have been given 2 when you registered at Amphur. As for a translated copy, any of the translation services will translate it for a small charge, they stamp it and that is acceptable for inclsion with your settlement visa. Buzby
Hi My wife and I have applied for Uk settlement visa. We did NOT have our Thai marriage certificates translated to English. Please see the notes at the bottom of this check list from the VFS Global website. Checklist I would hope they would have bought this issue up at time of submission IF English translation is required. If in doubt. Give VFS a call to confirm. Good luck with visa
