Fly NOK Air anywhere for 888 baht

Discount airline Nok Air is offering Bt888 (about $US26) net airfares to all of its destinations in Thailand to celebrate five years of operation.

The flights cover the airlines routes from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport to Chiang Mai, Udon Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Hat Yai, Phuket and Trang for departures between August 3 through September 30.

Tickets can be purchased by Nok Air Fan Club members commencing on July 20 and for everyone else on July 21, with a 14-day advance purchase period being required.

The offer is available on the company’s website and all bookings must be made via two websites – one for Nok Air Fan Club members only and the other for everyone else.

The Airline says the promotion seats are limited on each flight, but did not say how many seats were available on the Bt888 basis.

It’s website though does say that membership of the Nok Air Fan Club, the people who get access to the promotions fares first, is only open to those with permanent residency status in Thailand.

Nok Air was formed in 2004 with its major shareholders at the time being Thai Airways PLC, Krung Thai Bank PLC, The Government Pension Fund , Dhipaya Insurance PLC, CPB Equity Co., Ltd., SCB Securities Co., Ltd., and Thailand Prosperity Fund by ING Funds (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

wonder if this includes taxes?

i flew them at the weekend. Return flight developed technical problems and we had to return to Hat yai terminal. Something wrong with the air pressure and air condition as many people got very painful ears.

nothing beats air asia...

much cheaper new airplanes

It's a good deal for Visa runs or a flight to Chiang Mai.

Don't like Nok Air though, their planes always seem unstable on landing unlike Air Asia.

Just booked an Air Asia flight for September, paid 750B and Swampy is more convenient, so even at 888B I would not fly Nok
