LTR experience and question about stamp transfer to new passport
From my own experience in know for sure that the initial permit to stay is limited to the validity of your passport. So immigration will stamp you in until the expiry date of your old passport in any case. Therefore I wouldn't even show the new passport at the airport and just proceed asap to get the visa transferred at Then One Bangkok. I think she was right in suggesting you get everything done before leaving. That's what I did and it was painless. Also if immigration admitted you for 30 days without visa it would invalidate your LTR. -

In their own opinion.. Not as he really is though because no-one truly knows what goes on in his head. They do not even know how he uses critical thinking to make decisions or the circumstances for making such decisions.
