I joined here with the hopes of getting information about moving/living/retiring in thailand (Phuket or similar area in both price and quality). bojo Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 Welcome Joseph to TV Phuket's the best place to live permanently if you need the sea/beach, nightlife, other foreigners for chats, infrastructure and shopping, amongst others. Samui is alcatraz for longtermers. The air quality's great as opposed to BKK and C/mai. The Thai's get friendlier the further North one travels in the Kingdom but there's good and bad everywhere, so hook up with some affable ones for a lifestyle here that only most Westerners dream of.
