Internet In Ubon?

Featured Replies

Ubon

Is there reliable high speed internet in Ubon? I need to make money, even on holiday and require my notebook and a connection to NY markets. Thinking we will visit the family (minus my wife's thieving sisters) and look over Ubon for retirement for yours truly. Where else would I go than where the wife, who is a joy, is happy!?!

BULL

Reliable High speed Internet in Thailand would be nice !!

But seriously If you are in the town or one of the main ampurs you should have a selection of ADSL providers. Outside the populated areas the CAT CDMA mobile system gives me in excess of 1.3Mb/s of download speeds and it works most of the time most days if you call that reliable!

Or did you mean a place you could plug your laptop in or access free wifi for a few days whilst you are in town?

SIAMBULL,

The high speed internet service here is somewhat like the markets you watch in NY, some days its bullish, some days its bearish, some days and times up and some days and time down. Also often the speed within Thailand is just fine but when trying to connect to US or other places you might have a close race with a snail.

The connection is reliable but the speed isn't always.
