Why can't you take her with you? I met a French lady last year who was renting a small bungalow in a nearby soi and who had had her cat shipped with her all the way from France. Unless you're relocating to the UK where the ridiculous and outdated quarantine laws and their expense is the deterrent? (As an aside it doesn't seem to have worked with mad cows' disease, foot and mouth or swine flu does it?)

By the way I would be very happy to have her, I love cats, but have already taken in three dogs.

I am sure the decision to put this thread up must have been difficult for the OP. Considering that the OP states that the cat was adopted from the street and cared for should indicate that the OP is a caring person. As such, I think it unfair to question the motives. Doing this discourages others from trying to do the right thing. I'd rather someone make a thread like this than to just abandon the animal (as many do). I don't want the thread to go off on a tangent about right or wrong. All I ask is that one not judge, but exercise some understanding. Many people can have the OP's predicament and this thread is an attempt to find a solution, so let's just stick to seeing if someone has a home for the kitty. Thank you.

Thx guys for your understanding my situation, if I could take her with us I would as she is a lovely cat but circumstances will not allow me too.

We are leaving Thailand on the 19th of next month so if anyone could give her a loving home I would truly appreciate it.

I also have a golden bear hamster which comes with large cage which I need to find a home for.

Many thx
