Does any body know if there is a competent vet in Surin. Our nearest is a guy who worked for a couple on years on an Australian cattle ranch. His knowledge about dogs is rudimentary at best.

It seems that Thai doesn't really understand dogs. They either die or live.

I would suggest you take the dog down your nearest cattle/pig vaccination centre, they often do domestic pet work on the side.At least the drugs there are stored in a fridge. There are too many people pretending to be vets who have no idea and all they can do is stick in a syringe with out of date medicine and hope. :o

Speaking to a friend today and she said that our local vaccination centre did complex eye surgery on her Shih Tsu.Not cheap but did an excellent job. :o
