Hi, could someone please tell me the thai names for kaffir lime leaves and lemon grass as I want to use them to make soup but cannot find a translation in my dictionary, thanks.

Be careful when pronouncing the Thai word for lemongrass if you are not sure about vowel lengths or how to pronounce the tones right.

You may end up talking about a 'horny grandfather' or 'horny eyes' ตาไคร่ :)

Thanks Meadish...that's the sort of advice that many novices like me could really do with. The problems with transliteration!
