' Last seen on Camera at Bangkok Airport '. I hope he didnt use the duty free shops ? Always a possibility !!

I hope he is found safe and well.

AFAIK passengers pictures are taken at Immigration arrival counter.

Would it be possible to publish this one or do you meant it with "last seen on Camera"?

A picture taken from an CCTV would also help. He might be together with someone.

At least it is possible to see how he was dressed.

That topic is closed now.

The company, ASA Group, which was hired by the family claims he is alive and left Thailand. I may assume that the family knows this BEFORE Thaivisa was informed.

What's odd that up till this very moment the entire American press and television, mobilized by the family, isn't aware that "missing" Michael Griffin Harrie is NOT missing anymore.... :)

Only Thaivisa, informed by the CEO of The ASA Group, has the "breaking news" that Mr. Harrie is no longer missing.

Odd and weird.

The least one could expect is that the family would inform the US press that he is OK.

Missing Auburn student left Thailand on his own

AU News (news release)

Published: July 30, 2009

Investigators in Thailand have notified Auburn University’s Department of Public Safety and Security that Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine student Michael Harrie left that country on Wednesday, July 29. Immigration officials said Harrie appeared to be safe and apparently left the country under his own free will.

Harrie was reported missing on July 16 by his parents after he failed to show up for a planned meeting with them in Tokyo. Harrie was participating in a study abroad program at Iwate University in Morioka, Japan.

“Michael made the decision to take a personal sightseeing trip to Bangkok, Thailand, on July 7th and was scheduled to return to Tokyo on the 16th,” said father Paul Harrie. “He was planning to use his study abroad experience to help prepare him for his next year of veterinary school.”
