Hi I've got 3 weeks to kill until my tee rak comes back & i want to do something or go somewhere new!!! Think i've got every tee shirt from Thailand & want to go somewhere different. Anyone been to Japan or China before?? I've been to most other places in S.E.Asia before. I've also thought about going back to Vietnam,but... Any idea's boys & girls?? Not interested in P4P or gettting super mow. Just need a change & an eye opener!!! Cheers

The Yellow Mountains about 4 hours by train outside Shanghai are very beautiful this time of year, also many other places to see in China. Costs are great but not so easy getting around unless you can speak the lingo or have a guide. However that said alot more Chinese speak English compared to Thailand.

Does any1 know how quicky it takes to get a chinese visa from BKK or Vientenne?? If i went on monday morning!! really fancy China for a couple of weeks!!!

I would reccomend Japan, especially if you're a foodie. Great restaurants.

i stupidly left it a little late to plan things & my visa runs out for here on monday,but China it is. Either from Vientiane to Kunming on wednesday or BKK to Hong Kong wednesday.That gives me 17/18 days to check out Hong Kong,Shanghai,Beijings Forbidden city,The Great wall & Xi-an Terracotta Warriors & hopefully some great food,crazy sights & smells along the way. So around 3 days in each place... Any other idea's or other thoughts amigo Cheers once again

best place to go inmo is nepal: cheap, fun, and friendly, as well as interesting people and the weather is pretty good, even now in the all rain.
