I have ubc and i have been paying the monthly fee plus sim card for over 16 months now, i was told if i pay 1000 baht i no longer have to pay each month for rental service fee.

i went yeasterday and they said if i change i have to buy my gold package 3 months at a time.

now my idea was to pay out right and not have to pay the 318 baht each month for sim + service fee as i dont get the gold package every month as some months i am away.

now if i pay and change i have to buy 3 months at a time,now has anyone else experienced this as i begrudge paying in 3 month blocks when i might not be home for 1 month or more.

is there any way around this?as i only really get ubc for the football and when i get back the village i just pay for one month at a time.
