Centring Of Posts

Featured Replies

The forum has just (c. 13.15 GMT) changed the format for displaying posts. They are now centred rather than left-justified. Can we please go back to their being left-justified. The format change shows up in both Firefox and IE7. I don't want to have to explicitly request that posts be left justified by using the 'left' tag.

Also, we seem to have lost the forum hierarchy line. Please can we have that back - it is very useful for looking at other topics in a forum when you have finished catching up on one topic.

Richard.

We're looking into it now. Please be patient.

Issue resolved. Thanks for heads up!

its still centred on mine?

It's also still centered on mine. should we clear the cache or do a complete log-out to get a new cookie?

We was just trying to make your Sunday a bad Sunday experience. :)

Well done you achieved it, along with not being able to watch the Ashes, because the boy wants to watch the Tombliboos, no different than General really :)

ALL previous messages -except the OP's...- still centered with me :)

4lb lump hammer on F5 just about does the trick :)

Oh I give up!!

Click on 'My Assistant' and I get ' Find your Asian Beauty ' across the box :)

CTRL+F5 will reload the page and force a cache update, so better option if your page still doesn't look right.

Starting today I noticed that ThaiVisa postings (and I review/post on ThaiVisa almost daily) are "centered justified/formatted"--I don't like this formatting style. It makes it uncomfortable to read...makes the eyes and brain bounce around too much. Please go back to "left justified formatting" like the great, great majority of written/web material is printed in and what my eyes and brain are happy with. Keep the forum posting style simple and easy to read...Thanks.

Have you read the whole thread Pib?

Yeap, on the third CNTL-F5 and 2nd reboot the individual topic forum postings are now left justified, except for the main page titles which are still centered justified but my eyes/brain can deal with that. Thanks.

If the problem persists, please log out of Thai Visa, clear cache and cookies, close your browser window, then restart your browser and report back here

Richard.

Totally agree with BOTH requests! The change makes it VERY hard to read, and the loss of the quick link line makes it hard to go back to the main area you are in.

Please read the entire thread.

Logout, clear cache, clear all cookies except ID, and logging back in fixed. Thanks.

And I missed the other messages the first time. Sorry.

Thanks I thought it was the booze....although I admit to hitting F6 for a minute or two. :)

May I ask what actually caused the problem, seems to have effected all browsers, IE, FF, Chrome.

It was an error caused by a faulty CSS (style sheet). Sorry for the inconvenience.
