Work In Samui

Featured Replies

jobs are not easy to get on samui as such and especially not for such a short period of time.

to work legally in thailand you need a work permit, cannot think of any company who would issue that for only two months :o

why would you like to work here? just relax and enjoy :D

Especially as you are unlikely to get paid enough to make it worth working!

i dont care about money i want to discover life with thai people i went theire for tree weeks and now i go for 4 month in thailand and in cambodia... i want to know the life theire.... but i wait an answer for a work in guest house (thai company) in samui...

I think that there's just about no chance that you'll find short term work in Samui I'm afraid.

Some jobs are strictly for Thais only in order to protect the local labour market and I'm afraid all the jobs will probably already be taken in a place like Samui.

I agree with elfe - Samui is for a holiday and you'd also find out next to nothing about Thailand by working there anyway.

If you want to experience the real Thailand then get yourself off to Isaan for a while - you still won't find any short term work but you might get to see how the average Thai actually lives.

well, if you're NOT out to make money anyway, ... a REAL TRADITIONAL lifestyle for thai, especially ISAAN people .. you can discover in Samui too...just look/mix with/work the life of construction workers (you can even learn about myanmar)! THIS would really be your 'experience-for-life' over here you'd NEVER forget (although i doubt you'd come back..)

or

if you miss farang standards, search the other side of the construction...sell it! the ''fashionable'' way of living for many farangs over here for as long as it lasts...

good luck!
