Ss Hm Queen's Birthday A One-day Holiday?

Featured Replies

I know that Wednesday 12th August is a national holiday and immigration offices will be closed. But are these offices likely to be closed the next day also? I need to extend my visa in Phuket and plan to drive down from Jomtien Beach on the 12th. So I don't want to have a wasted journey.

(I am extending in Phuket and not Pattaya because I know that Pattaya Immigration is unlikely to extend my visa based on having a Thai child because I do not have sole custody of him. Phuket is more accomodating and my registered address is still in Phuket).
