Hi all, just returned from breaking up with my girlfriend and thought I would let you know of a resort (short time hotel) named My friend resort. The guy that runs it with his Thai wife is an Englishman named Gareth, He runs a very good operation, the rooms are spotless, have air, cable TV, hot shower and comfortable bed. Only 300/night and food is available if you let him know what you want. The resort is on the left just before Wang Hin when traveling towards Kukhan from Sisaket. You will see a sign pointing to it and you have to turn left off the main road, go down about 300 M and turn right, the resort is on the right about 200 M along the road. While in the area you may like to visit my Ex girlfriends Mu Kata restaurant a bit further along the main road towards Kukhan turn right at Phon Yang village drive through the village and the restaurant is about two kilometres along the road, called Raan Blai Na. Even though we have broken up I would like to see her and her family do well and keep her out of the bar scene.

Believe it or not, us farangs are not the only one's that enjoy that sort of activity. There are at least four short time hotels (masquerading as resorts) within a fifteen minute drive from my ex's village. And I am quite sure that you could extrapolate that fact and conclude that there are hundreds of them in Sisaket province alone!
