Looking For Beaches And Swimming Near Bkk And Place To Stay

Featured Replies

This must have been covered before, but I am wanting to take the Thai g/f to a beach where she can go swimming. Preferably just to the South of BKK but not at Pattaya (she has 'difficult' family living in Pattaya and I want to avoid problems there).

The g/f is happy swimming in a bikini, so dress code is no problem. But I would like somewhere with relatively clean seawater and a decent beach. If there are decent bars with English music that is also a bonus.

And as I have paid out a lot in hospital bills of late I would like some good clean accommodation but not expensive. If it also has a pool, that is an advantage, but not a necessity.

Any hints or tips about where to eat both Thai and 'Farang' food would be helpful too.

Time if the week is not important as we can go any time. I will be driving down too, so will have the car to park.

So, any ideas / suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks.

Dirty and infested with jellyfish.

Try Suan Siam. Let me know when she will be there in her bikinis... :D Using the giant slider is a must... :)
