scubakev
I have been working in Thailand and have a non immigrant B multiple visa and a work permit. Like a lot of us I had been send this to an agent to take care of following the advice of the Thai’s I work for. I now know that this can not be done and I have to do visa runs myself. My non Immigrant visa was issued at the royal Thai consulate CARDIEF can anyone tell me if there is such a place and where it is as all the searches I have done for it have turned nothing up and I am thinking this could be a fake stamp. dr_Pat_Pong
Look at the visa under a powerful jewellers glass. Hopefully it is a smudge. Have you fronted the agent ? You could fax the Consulate and ask if the visa number is valid for the date of issue.
base1
Relax Scubakev the visa is probably legit. As I presume its an old fashion stamp style visa you have circ. 1998 and the actual spelling used was/or still is CARDIEF. Not a smudge!
dr_Pat_Pong
They say one learns something every day. I certainly never heard of any other spelling for Cardiff.
kernow
My visa was issued from Cardiff and they put the same date for the issue and expiry dates ... I think they might just be error prone - now I have an interesting explanation to make everytime I come back into Thailand.

base1
Dr.PP I am not saying Cardiff is spelt CARDIEF. I am saying the non imm. stamps that the Thai Consulate in Wales use, have that spelling - so they are (presumably) not fake! ...now I wonder if this post will get deleted too
dr_Pat_Pong
Why would you think that Base ? Nothing wrong with your post at all. Factual, responsible, and unburdened with ranting and raving. You are safe.
