Tourism Strong Baht and Safety Fears Weigh on Thai Tourism
And they don't even want Norwegian, Swedish and Danish Kroners.. You can't exchange them most places, but if you find a place you can, it's 40% less than it's worth.. And I'm not even kidding. -

How about a solar car port on a budget?
Ohhh, so percentage is a calculated value, based on power usage from 100%? I thought it was just using voltage to display a %-value. My battery is at 52.9 V when it was showing 40%, so pretty healthy. -

Accident Teenager Injured in Pattaya Collision With American Motorcyclist
Picture courtesy of TMN A 13-year-old schoolgirl was injured after being struck by a motorcycle driven by an American man in Na Jomtien, Pattaya, on 13 August. The incident occurred at around 17:00 in front of Wat Na Jomtien, just before the red-light intersection near the Office of the Attorney General Region 2. The motorbike, a Yamaha NMAX 155cc bearing registration from Chonburi, collided with the girl as she was crossing the road on her way home from school. The driver, a man in his forties from the United States was not named, claimed the girl suddenly stepped into his path, causing the collision. The impact sent the motorbike skidding nearly 100 metres, damaging the left side of the vehicle. The victim, Ms Ananya Inyam, a student at Sattahip Witthayakhom School, sustained injuries to her right ankle, suspected to be fractured, along with facial abrasions. She was lying in the road, closely attended to by her grandmother, until rescue teams from Sawang Rojanathammasathan Sattahip arrived to provide first aid and transfer her to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. Lt. Col. Atit Saenpanya, the investigating officer, along with Na Jomtien police, documented the scene and has summoned the motorbike rider for further questioning. Legal proceedings are expected to follow. Adapted by Asean Now from TMN 2025-08-14
