booma Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 The third picture does actually look nice, albeit bloody freezing, those trees and sky look pretty spectacular. But yeah, heat is where it's at!
Pattaya_Fox Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BRRRRRH....I think I just became an Arctic Fox........
booma Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Where were those pics taken? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The number plate gives me no clues. It might do for someone else?
PeaceBlondie Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 This year, my daughter in Brownsville, Texas had snow. Maybe an inch. The first recorded snowfall since the 19th century. Which is why I moved from South Texas - too freezin' cold.
Boon Mee Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Finland, most likely...who is Som Nam Naa ? "Som Nam Naa" is a Thai expression that means "you get what's coming to you". Presumably based on past misdeeds...
lampard10 Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Where were those pics taken? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ramsgate
jayenram Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Oh I miss walking along the dunes of St. Fergus in February, my face being drilled with horizontal hail.
sriracha john Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 It's been an exceptionally bad winter in the USA as well. Don't miss it for a second.
RDN Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 It's been an exceptionally bad winter in the USA as well. Don't miss it for a second. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Excellent shot! That snowball got him right in the smacker!

A skiing holiday would be nice, but on the wages here pretty impossible at the moment.
aletta Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 This thread has persuaded me not to go home for a couple of weeks,so instead i will put on my shorts and sit in the garden with a cool beer.
joinme2leave Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 pics are from Czech Republic. Nevertheless, some SNOW from time to time is quite okay for me.
johnh101 Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 I received the 'cars with ice photos' a few weeks ago with a note saying it was Lake Geneva Switzerland.
sriracha john Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Hahahaha.... I got the same photos emailed to me as well, with a note saying it was Romania.....
joinme2leave Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 believe me...it's Czech Rep or Slovakia: Been there many times and both countries got the same kinda number plates. ANYHOW, who cares? It's faaaaaaaaaaar away from thailand sun...and that's okay...isn't it?
sriracha john Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Absolutely.... have no intentions of ever visiting Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, OR Romania. Give me that Thai sun everyday.... although a little rain right about now would be great too. Hmmm.... that makes me think.... Rain..... Now that would be a good subject for a new thread, wouldn't it?

Jai Dee Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Hmmm.... that makes me think.... Rain..... Now that would be a good subject for a new thread, wouldn't it? That's gotta be TV's longest running thread hey? I just got back from Sri Ratcha at lunchtime... hissing down... roads flooded... Taoism: shit happens Buddhism: if shit happens, it isn't really shit Islam: if shit happens, it is the will of Allah Catholicism: if shit happens, you deserve it Judaism: why does this shit always happen to us? Atheism: I don't believe this shit
sriracha john Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Yeah!.... the rain came.... albeit not too much. The local reservoir is so depleted, we've been on water hours here for 2 months... say... this could be the beginning of a new thread for rain...
Diggerbasher Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Have always meant to pay a visit to Europe but this thread certainly does not paint a rosy picture at this time of year.
RDN Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 .. this could be the beginning of a new thread for rain... <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Boon Mee Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Absolutely.... have no intentions of ever visiting Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, OR Romania. I don't know...heard them Romanian women are hot!
