Good to see something like this as govt spending/waste is the main reason the US is 36 trillion in debt. It can't keep going the way it is, eventually the US won't be able to service it's debt. I wish them luck because as thaibeachlovers said, it's a herculean task!
A fire broke out early morning on November 15, in the parking garage of a condominium complex in Bangkok’s Chokchai 4 neighbourhood, leaving a pickup truck almost destroyed and two nearby cars damaged. The blaze is suspected to have originated from a pile of garbage near the vehicles.
At approximately 00:10 officers from the Chokchai Police Station received a report of a vehicle fire at a condominium on Soi Chokchai 4, Soi 37, Lane 5, in the Lat Phrao district. Firefighters and rescue units from Lat Phrao, along with fire trucks were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered a substantial blaze in the parking area beneath the building. The flames had started in a pile of trash and quickly spread to a nearby Toyota, petrol engine pickup truck. Firefighters worked swiftly, and the fire was brought under control within 30 minutes.
However, by that time, the pickup truck suffered serious damage by the flames, and two other cars, a Toyota and Honda, parked nearby had sustained fire and heat damage. Additionally, the flames had also damaged an air-conditioning compressor unit of an apartment, above the parking area.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire began in the garbage pile, which ignited and spread to the parked vehicles. Authorities are continuing their inquiry and intend to question the pickup truck’s owner to better understand the circumstances leading to the incident.
