Kringle
Since I'm finding it very difficult to find anyone that does sandblasting for motorcycle parts (frame) or anything else, I've decided to look for a portable sandblaster to purchase. Does anyone know of a place to go to in Bangkok to get one? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Kringle Edited March 12, 2005 by Kringle
Thetyim
I would recommend a cabinet sand blaster over a portable total loss . Sorry do not know where to buy one. I would guess that a BNP plating business might be the best place to ask.
Kringle
Thanks for the help and I do agree that a cabinet model would be better but main reason for portable was cost. Just doing things for myself so don't need to worry about recouping the used sand. Don't really have that much room also so another reason for portable. Thetyim
In UK you can get an attachment to introduce sand into the nozzle of a normal pressure washer. This is the cheapest option I can think of. I have not used one as I went for a cabinet in the end.
Kringle
Thetyim, can I rent your cabinet model for an hour or so to do my motorcycle frame? I wouldn't have to buy anything then. Thanks, Kringle
Thetyim
Sorry, I do not have one in LOS. I used to have a cabinet in my workshop in UK. I have just seen my first sand blaster here in LOS, today. It was a suction cabinet, unlined and a bit small for your needs but at least they are available. I asked but it is not for sale. Here is a link for a Karcher sand blast attachment http://www.karcher.ca/CCE/HD%20-%20HDS%20W...ast%20Page.html Edited March 14, 2005 by Thetyim
