Renting A House?

I assume it is straight forward enough to rent

a house on a 30day tourist visa, but, how hard is it to

get the utilities setup in your name such as:

1 - Telephone

2 - Electricity

Most of the time the owners will have the bill sent to them and just bring it round. It is pretty easy if you speak Thai or if you know someone who does

All mine get sent to my house in the owners name. I see no reason to get them set up in my name.

No need to get bills in your name out here in the wilds of Sisaket.Collector will just ring your doorbell and anyone can cough up.

and normally the phone and electricity bills come in the owners name to the house , learn to recognise the electricity and telephone bills and slip down to the local 7-11 and pay them
