Parking Soi 8 Sukhumvit

Hi guy's, does anyone know where I could park my car daily around the sukhumvit Soi 8 area? I do not mind having to leave the car a small distance away as long as it is in a good safe parking area.

thank you

I understand the difficulty finding parking space in Soi 8. Before I bought a place there, I would park at either the Landmark Hotel or Villa Market in Soi 11.

Citadines...the new condo/hotel project about 2/3rds of the way down Soi 8, recently was advertising its in-building parking spaces for rent by distributing flyers on the soi... I presume because, the project itself appears largely empty of tenants/residents.

PM if soi 13 is of any use

Either sell your car, or look for a new residence with a reserved car park lot.

I will not be selling the car, and it is not a residence I have moved into. thanks for your input anyway.

When I lived in this area, I always parked at Bumrungrad Hospital for free and took shuttle bus to the MRT, then just a short walk to soi 8.

I live in Sukumvhit Soi 10 and have a parking space in my condo (under cover) that I don't use. See how you go with alternatives, but Soi 10 is closer than most of the other options you have been given. Also, see how you go with costs. In fairness, I would need to pass on a monthly fee, albeit nominal, to the owner.

It might be worthwhile putting a notice in some of the apartment block lobbies in Soi 8 and again in Soi 10, where there are only three condo blocks - Siri 10, Sukumvhit Casa and Sukumvhit Park. Sukumvhit Casa has a lot of empty spaces (my block) and I'm sure they'd let you put a notice on the foyer noticeboard.

good idea with putting up some notices around. I have one option already but if I need another I will PM. I do not have a problem with paying a fee. thank you for the help and offer.

These projects do not have car park lots reserved for specific condo units. Total number of lots is probably less than total number of units. As such, all the lots are deemed common property. Only the resident committee can enact policies like renting out 'vacant' lots to the public.

If you try to pay someone a monthly fee to park your car, that person taking your money is probably not authorized to give such a permission, and if found out by the committee, you lose your money and bar from parking there.
