Rimmer
The Pattaya Drug Suppression Unit recently organised a sting operation which managed to net a French national, Mr. Julien Vignerow, aged 21, whilst in possession of three bags of the drug ‘Ice’, totalling 3.3 grams, and 12,000 baht in cash which was used in his drug dealing operations. The French man was arrested at the Lion King Beer Bar, located in Soi 6, Pattaya Second Road. Police had identified him as a drugs supplier to tourists in entertainment complexes around the town. They discovered his telephone number and made a call to request two bags of ‘Ice’ at a total cost of 6,000 baht. Upon turning up to deliver the drugs, Mr. Vignerow was arrested, and upon searching his rooms they discovered more drugs concealed in the rooms security deposit box. The suspect admitted that this was not his first brush with the law for the possession and dealing of drugs. The arrested man refused to help the police with further investigations to find out his suppliers, however, due to some good police investigation, the police managed to discover other members of his network. They arrested Mr. Malcolm, along with four other people who are all thought to play significant roles in the business structure. All have been detained at the police station to await further investigations and their day in court.
