Sol Campbell's Switch To Notts County

A little op-ed from the Mirror on Sol Campbell's move to Notts County. Ian McParland doesn't look all that happy to have him and didn't play him yesterday.

The writer suggests that bringing a top level player to a fourth level club is bound to be a disaster, probably for both the club and the player. Too hard to absorb into the team and too much temptation for the player to lose fitness.

What would you do in McParland's shoes? Play him because he's costing a fortune and needs some on-field time? Or bring him in when there's an obvious need to replace a player?
